I started learning Tai Chi (Yang style) 5 years ago with a group of 6 friends for regular exercise and to improve my health. After 2 years, felt that I was going ¡¥nowhere¡¦ as the teacher was doing the same routine/form every lesson with little explanation. I then learnt that Saw Phaik Hwa was teaching Tai Chi and she finally allowed me to join her beginner class in 2004. Since joining the HK Street Club I have been inspired by Saw Phaik Hwa and the group of instructors who are very passionate in their teaching and willingness to share their knowledge. Also the opportunity to meet Sifu in Singapore events; the annual dinners and Sifu class. |
