I began my study of Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan around July 2000. Since then I studied the hand form, applications, weapons and sparring from senior students and disciples. As well, there were opportunities to attend various seminars offered by Sifu Eddie Wu. The aspects I enjoy the most about tai chi are those principles applied to sparring or self defence applications. After studying tai chi I personally notice improvements in calmness, balance and health. In September 2007 Sifu Eddie Wu asked me to become a disciple and I feel privileged to begin studying the finer points of Tai Chi Chuan. |
